主讲人简介：

Professor Richard Foristel is the China Director for Webster University, a U.S. based institution.  He has extensive experience in business management, particularly in marketing. He has served as the Director of Marketing at the Saint Louis Institute of Behavioral Medicine, a partner of Kerlick Switzer, and founder of FAS Advertising Company.

He has also worked at McDonnell-Douglas Corporation, a leading company in the American aircraft industry, where he was manager of internal marketing. The company is now operated by Boeing. Professor Foristel teaches undergraduate and graduate courses, focusing on courses such as marketing, product development, promotion management, and advertising.  With his rich teaching experience and unique insights, he is highly praised by students.

讲座简介：

The heart of developing innovative products is the entrepreneurial spirit.  Entrepreneurs seek a better life for themselves and those close to him or her. Better cities. Better lives. The Shanghai Expo 2010 used the tagline "Better City, Better Life,” to showcase urban development and sustainability. If the heart of innovation is entrepreneurship, then the brain of innovation is high science.   

More than ten years before the open of Expo 2010 Shanghai government was working on the concept of Zhangjiang Hi-tech Park and finally the reality of Science City.  China was headed for knowledge economy. Silicon Valley, including Stanford and San Francisco was a model that showed many of important parts of knowledge community, including top-end universities, government support, capital very smart technical people.
