Topic I：Impact of innovation on the economic performance
Speaker：Prof. Dr. Hans Jaeger
Institute for Technology Management, University of St.Gallen/Switzerland (see attached CV)
Introduction：This lecture shows how innovations of Swiss companies impacted the economy, both in history and recent years. It gives example such as SWATCH or consumer goods. Technological innovations laid the base for break through innovations, such as the first computers and computer languages.
Topic II：Leadership Models in Swiss companies
Speaker：Mr. Christian Haltner, Managing Director, Central Compliance Group Credit Suisse, Global Head Client Identification
Introduction：This lecture/Workshop is conducted together with Prof. Hans Jaeger and shows how leadership models contribute to successful performance and customer satisfaction. Credit Suisse is the largest Swiss bank and operates globally. Christian Haltner has profound experience in Leadership in large global Service Organisations. In a workshop we investigate similarities and differences between Chinese and Western leadership styles.
