主讲人简介：
John Wilson is Professor of Public Policy and Management, Donghua University. He has led four business schools in the UK, been a Vice-President and Pro Vice-Chancellor of Glasgow Caledonian University and Principal & CEO of the Sino-British College in Shanghai (a joint venture between the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and 9 UK universities). He has published in leading academic journals, edited/co-edited 6 books, most recently (2024)Management Practices in China,He was engaged by Dell (2023) to offer online leadership training worldwide for over 500 Distinguished Engineers/Distinguished Members of Technical Staff. He is a member of the Taylor & Francis Advisory Board for its Sustainable Development Goals Online Collection and a member of the Advisory Board of Ethics International Press.
讲座简介：
At the end of the workshop students will be able to:
Ø explain the meaning, nature and importance of leadership
Ø distinguish between management and leadership
Ø explain the nature, requirements and implications of leading without authority
Ø appreciate key factors to consider in gaining the support of peers, with particular emphasis given to authenticity, empathy and trust
Ø reflect on their own perceptions of leadership and ability to demonstrate it.
